Police Arrest , Quiz Ekiti PDP Chair for Allegedly Signing Dud Cheque

The embattled Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) , Ekiti chapter, Chief Idowu Faleye, was on Wednesday arrested by the Police for allegedly signing a dud cheque to pay for the rentage of the state secretariat.

Information has it that the Chairman was arrested about 5.00 pm on Wednesday by a special police squad from the Force Headquarters,
Abuja.

The arrest might not be unconnected with a petition written by the owner of the building which serves as the PDP state secretariat, Ropo

Adesanya, in which he claimed that he was issued a dud cheque which was rejected by an old generation bank based in Ado Ekiti.

Adesanya, a former state PDP Chairman, who had since defected to the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) , was being owed a sum of N1.5 million, being annual payment for the secretariat.
