Angola: Governor Reaffirms Commitment to Improving People's Living Quality


Menongue — The governor of the province of Kuando Kubango, Higino Carneiro, reiterated Tuesday in this city that the government will continue to develop programs aimed at improving social conditions through the construction of infrastructure in various areas of public interest.

Speaking at the gala dinner, organized by the administration of the city of Menongue, capital seat of Kuando Kubango, as part of the celebrations of 54 years since it reached city status, on the 21st October 1961, Higino Carneiro stressed that the city has few years of existence, and therefore, despite the visible level of development, we still need to do more.

In this regard, he stressed that the main challenges of his government to the city of Menongue, capital seat of Kuando Kubango, are especially focused on social, economic, human capital development, to create more jobs, among other sectors to leverage progress in the area.
