A source close to Odom tells PEOPLE while the former NBA star is recovering from his near death experience, he is still on dialysis and has trouble standing on his own.
"Lamar is doing okay. There are still many questions about what will happen in the future," the source says. "Lamar still can't stand up alone. He has to be helped to a chair right by his bed. He is receiving antibiotics for a respiratory infection. He is also still receiving dialysis."
After spending over a week at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Odom wastransferred to famed Cedars-Sinai Medical Center earlier this week so that he could continue his recovery while receiving the "best medical treatment possible" a source told PEOPLE.
The former Lakers and Clippers star spent four days in a coma after overdosing on drugs at a Nevada Brothel. Odom, 35, was rushed to a local hospital where he was intubated before being taken to Sunrise, where he was met by his estranged wife Khloé Kardashian, 31, and other members of the Kardashian-Jenner family.
