Police spokesperson Constable Noloyiso Rwexana said the suspects, aged between 19 and 22, were arrested on Tuesday and were due to appear in court soon.
According to Rwexana, the suspects face charges relating to the murder and rape of a 20-year-old female on 18 July near Kwezi Park in Khayelitsha.
Police management thanked all roleplayers, particularly members of the community, for assisting police in the investigations.
